About
Chris De Giere is a San Francisco Bay Area–based interdisciplinary artist creating generative systems that produce sound and images. His work explores sensation and perception, stochasticity, and collaboration with technology.
He has been making with machines since the late 1990s, an experimental practice spanning avant-garde electronic audio, digital imagery, and printmaking. Chris studied science, philosophy, and electronic arts at UC Santa Barbara. He runs Xsec Developments, an online audio-visual imprint.
