Monotype Series 6 (Gravity)
A reduced palette — black, yellow, and white acrylic on carrageenan size. Traditional suminagashi rings laid down in alternating colors, then warped by tilting and moving the entire tray, letting gravity reshape the composition. Pairs are torn and printed in sequence as near-diptychs.

After all the color of the last two series I wanted to strip back — a few colors and see what happens. The results felt celestial to me. Dense bodies warping the space around them, pulling everything inward. The middle pair went the other direction — more like nebulae, scattered dust, something still forming. Switching to acrylics on size meant I could move the whole tray around in ways I couldn't before — the paint held together long enough to be pulled apart slowly.
